School registration

MOSS POINT, MS (WLOX) - Moss Point will hold its annual student registration at Moss Point High School, 4913 Weems Street, Wednesday, July 15 and Thursday, July 16th from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Friday, July 17th   from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  Representatives from each of the 8 schools will be available at Moss Point High School to assist parents and guardians with registration.

To register a child for school, parent or guardians must be present and bring the following items: (If you are serving as a legal guardian, you must provide the schools with a court order showing guardianship.):

  • Child's birth certificate
  • Social security card
  • Immunization form (121) from the health department.
  • New students to the district in grades 1-12 need their last report card or an unofficial transcript

Required forms of verification from parents or guardians are:

  • Valid Mississippi drivers license
  • Valid Mississippi state identification card

 The second proof of residence may be one of the following documents.  Only one document can be a utility bill and   must include the parent/guardian's name and street address (P.O. Boxes cannot be accepted):

  • Filed homestead exemption application form
  • Mortgage document
  • Property deed
  • Apartment or house lease
  • Voter's identification
  • Automobile registration.
