Vancleave man dies in accidental drowning

VANCLEAVE (WLOX) - A Jackson County man is dead after he apparently drowned in Bluff Creek early today. The victim is 52 year old Roger Wayne Yale of Vancleave. His body was recovered early this morning by the Jackson County sheriff's flotilla about a mile south of Barge Landing.

Yale had been camping with a friend, when he apparently went swimming around midnight. The investigation into the death continues. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
