It's always easy to get wrapped up in shopping for gifts, decorations, and the parties this holiday season.
But we found a few people in church on this Christmas Eve who say there's another reason for the season...
People gathered at St. James Catholic Church to celebrate the birth of Christ.
They celebrated in song and in prayer.
We asked a few people attending the service - what is the true meaning of Christmas?
Here's what they had to say...
"True meaning of Christmas? To be with my family, and just to be able to be with my children. I guess family is the most important thing," worshipper Shownie Floyd.
"The real meaning of Christmas is the birth of Christ," said worshipper Ron Jamieson.
St. James will have also have two Christmas Day services, one beginning at 9 a.m. and the other at 11 a.m.
