Monday morning at nine, WLOX will take a powerful step in the conversion to our enhanced digital signal. For those of you who receive us by a local cable company, you won't have to do anything.
If you have televisions, not hooked up to cable, you will need to rescan those TV's or the converter boxes. Over the air or satellite viewers who receive us by an outside antenna, inside antenna will need to rescan one more time.
Rescan your television set or converter box anytime after nine Monday morning. By making this important step, it will ensure that you receive a rich picture for local news, weather, entertainment programs and emergency information. We appreciate your patience as we move to our stronger digital signal.
Our one goal is to make sure no one is left behind, so if you have a friend or relative who's had trouble seeing WLOX, tell them to rescan. If your set is hooked up to an outside antenna, inside antenna or rabbit ears, rescan your TV or converter box one more time after 9am Monday.
For more details, go to wlox.com. Once you rescan, you'll see a stronger WLOX... The Station for South Mississippi.
