HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - Pictures of bare chested women, and stories of sexually arousing behavior have disgusted a Harrison County couple.  The Muntzs keep finding pornographic magazines littering the road that runs in front of their home.  Every time they spot a nude picture or a sexually explicit article, they throw it away, hoping their children never see it.

What they can't figure out is where the porn is coming from.

"This is some pornography magazines that my husband found on the side of the road yesterday on our way to church," Muntz said.

She saved the materials just long enough to make a point.  Muntz wants the sleazy trash out of her neighborhood.

"It's part of the world that we don't want our kids to see," she said.

The sexually explicit pages were found Wednesday while family members walked their dog.  They contain graphic pictures of naked women.  The accompanying copy uses descriptive words about sexual fantasies.

"Disgust," was the word Muntz used to describe the materials, "because this is something that we, as Christian parents, try to keep our kids from."

How the pornographic materials wound up in grassy ditches on a rural Harrison County street is a mystery.  They could have been taken out of recycling bins.  Or they could have been dumped there.  All Mrs. Muntz knows is that she and her husband have been keeping the illicit magazines away from their children for nearly six months.

"People that throw things like this on the side of the road really make our job as parents harder.  And it's disgusting," she said.

The family has contacted the Harrison County Sheriff's Department to complain about the smut, but Mrs. Muntz said, so far, nothing has been done to prevent pornographic materials from littering East Dubuisson Road.

"I think it's a shame.  Whoever's doing it, they really need to stop," she said.

Harrison County Sheriff Melvin Brisolara said he was unaware of any reports about illicit magazines found on East Dubuisson Road.

After our interview, Mrs. Muntz made sure these revealing magazine photos wound up where every other illicit page of pornography she found has gone - in the garbage can.
