OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) - A memorial service will be held this Saturday, June 20, for missing Ocean Springs police officer Stephen Bond. The service will begin at 2pm at First Baptist Church in Ocean Springs.

The Gautier and Ocean Springs Police Departments will lead a procession to the church before the service. Bond, who was a Marine, will be given full military honors.

Stephen Bond has been missing since May 17 when a boat carrying him and four others capsized in the Mississippi Sound near Horn Island. The search for Bond continued weeks after the other four boaters were rescued, but so far, searchers have found no traces of him.

Bond's family members say even though they've arranged the memorial, they won't stop looking for him.
