Biloxi's mayor home from the hospital - WLOX.com - The News for South Mississippi

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Biloxi Mayor A.J. Holloway was released from Biloxi Regional Medical Center Wednesday after having routine surgery last week.
Four months ago, doctors repaired Holloway's perforated colon. It was caused by diverticulitis, a common condition where pouches in the colon become inflamed or infected. This most recent surgery was a follow-up to that operation.
Holloway should return to his City Hall office within the next couple of weeks. A.J. Holloway was recently re-elected to a record fifth term as Biloxi's mayor.
