HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - A man and woman from Gulfport face multiple charges after investigators say they threw part of their mobile meth lab out their car window.

According to Harrison County Sheriff Melvin Brisolara, Bryan Skinner and Karen Moran, both 43, had an active meth lab in their car. Friday, when deputies approached their car near Hutter Road, Skinner handed them his license and drove away.

The sheriff said Skinner then threw a bag from the car, which exploded. Investigators say the bag contained meth making materials, which are extremely volatile.

Deputies stopped the car and arrested Skinner and Moran. Sheriff Brisolara said even more meth making materials were found inside the car, so a hazardous disposal team was called in to remove the chemical waste.
