Moran wins in Ocean Springs; Mayor's race still close in Bay St. Louis

STATEWIDE, MS (WLOX) - Tuesday's votes are being counted in cities all across south Mississippi tonight, and WLOX.com has the latest numbers.  Here are a few of the highlights:

  • Ocean Springs Mayor Connie Moran edges out Scott Walker by 103 votes.
  • A.J. Holloway becomes the first mayor in Biloxi history to win a 5th term.
  • New mayors: George Schloegel Gulfport, Tommy Fortenberry in Gautier, Aneice Liddell in Moss Point.
  • Chipper McDermott wins re-election in Pass Christian.
  • Mayor's race still tight in Bay St. Louis between Les Fillingame and Lisa Cowand.
