GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - Police have announced the arrests of two suspects in a Gulfport murder. Bethany Goodenough and David Obermiller are both charged with capital murder in the death of Thomas Corbin of Ocean Springs.

Corbin was found dead in a room at the Crystal Inn and Suites on Canal Road Sunday afternoon. Investigators believe Corbin picked-up the hitch-hikers Sunday. The suspects have ties to Arizona and Oregon, but investigators say they are homeless.

The 20-year-old, Goodenough and 21-year-old Obermiller were arrested last night in Austin, Texas. They were picked up near the University of Texas campus for sleeping in public.

Investigators from the Harrison County Sheriff's Department are on their way to Austin to question the pair. WLOX News will have more on this developing story.
