Pass Road work begins

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Sunday evening, work began that will make your ride on a portion of Pass Road much smoother.

Over the next few weeks, about four miles of Pass Road in Biloxi will be resurfaced. The portion to be paved, stretches from DeBuys Road to the Keesler gate.

There won't be any turn lanes added, or stop lights, just the resurfacing of the roadway. All the work will be done from midnight to 8am, to keep traffic problems to a minimum.

The Pass Road work is part of a $2.5 million project that has included work on Irish Hill and parts of Popp's Ferry. The entire tab is being picked up by the federal government.
