Red Cross shelters to open by 4pm

SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) - The American Red Cross will have three shelters open to house those who live in areas susceptible to wind and flooding.

  • West Harrison Community Center
    4470 Espy Avenue, Long Beach
  • Woolmarket Community Center
    16320 Old Woolmarket Road, Biloxi
  • Gautier Community Center
    2012 Library Lane, Gautier

The West Harrison and Woolmarket Community Centers will open at 4pm and the shelter in Gautier will open at 1pm.

The shelters are open to men, women and children. No pets, alcohol or weapons are allowed. Guests must bring a three day food supply including water and medication. The shelters will remain open until weather conditions improve.
