The month of May has arrived and fishing is off and running strong.
That includes the Louisiana Marsh and the ever-popular redfish.
A recent trip with captain Gig Gruich of Biloxi and Daniel Wilson produced several reds under 30-inches in length and many more over 30. The fish were caught in two-feet or less of water using plastic jigs.
The jigs were fished on the bottom and suspended 18-inches beneath a popping cork.
