  • Mike Reader began his career in television in 1983 as weekend weathercaster at WLOX. In 1988 he retired from the U.S. Navy. A year later he was promoted to Chief Meteorologist.
    Mike Reader is the Chief Meteorologist at WLOX-TV. 

  • Tommy Richards is unique at WLOX-TV. He's a meteorologist who also anchors a news show. Actually, he co-anchors two news shows.
    Tommy is the only WLOX meteorologist who also anchors two WLOX News programs.

  • Carrie Duncan grew up in Starkville, where she went to high school and college. Throughout her career, she has worked hurricanes and other tropical weather. During her years at MSU, she was a member of the Tornado Chase Team.
    Weekend Meteorologist Carrie Duncan grew up in Starkville, where she went to high school and college. She attended Mississippi State University where she received her BS in Geosciences with an emphasis in Broadcast Meteorology.
