Beginning Monday night, we will have the possibility for strong to severe storms to move over our area from the west. Our threat will begin around 10 p.m. Monday and continue into Tuesday morning, eventually ending around 5 a.m. when storms shift off to our east.

    This has certainly been a warm and muggy fall here in South Mississippi. We are normally seeing highs in the low to mid 70s by the beginning of November and lows are normally in the mid 50s. As of late, our highs have been running 5-10 degrees above normal. Our lows have been mild and muggy and running 10-15 degrees above average.November 1st, our average high is 75 degrees. We only hit 71 degrees because it rained almost all day. In fact, we picked up 1.93” of rain at WLOX.More >>
