    Ocean Springs board of aldermen voted 5-2 in favor of the Ocean Springs noise ordinance. The noise ordinance requires outdoor amplified music to shut off on Friday and Saturday by midnight. From Sunday-Thursday
    After months of sometimes heated debate, the City of Ocean Springs has passed a noise ordinance effecting downtown bars and nightclubs. Outdoor amplified music has to shut down at 11pm on weekdays, and midnight on weekends. As Doug Walker reports, even though the law was passed, no one seemed to leave city hall pleased with the result.
