All About Us

  • Brad is the News Director for WLOX-TV.
  • Trang Pham-Bui has worked at WLOX since 1989. Believe it or not, during her high school years, she rarely watched the news, and had never even considered a career in television. Her life story is worthy of a "Top Story."
  • WLOX-TV is the first television job for Steve Phillips following a long career in radio news. He joined WLOX News in 1992, serving first as weekend assignment editor and reporter, then Jackson County bureau reporter.
  • WLOX hired Danielle Thomas in 1998 as an editor and sports reporter. She then became assistant assignment editor and eventually a news reporter/photographer.
  • For more than a decade, Al Showers has covered the news in Hancock and Pearl River Counties for WLOX. In fact, he's so well known in the community that the other reporters say when they cover stories on South Mississippi's "West Coast" they're always asked, "Where's Al?"
  • Doug Walker has been the Assignment Editor at WLOX since 1989, but now has gone back to his reporting roots. Doug says he will enjoy the challenge of hitting the streets once again. He also co-hosts WLOX News This Week, a weekly news magazine show with Dave Elliott.
  • Patrice Clark is the bureau chief for WLOX's Jackson County bureau. She began working at the station behind the scenes in August 2004. Her first big story as a reporter was one South Mississippi will never forget, Hurricane Katrina.
  • Jessica Bowman is the newest on-air talent of the Good Morning Mississippi team. She started her career at WLOX in 2007 as a producer of several newscasts, including Good Morning Mississippi.

  • Michelle was born and raised in Bay St. Louis. She began her career writing for magazines, but was soon lured into the world of broadcast journalism.
  • You can now see Charisse's regional reports each week night on WLOX's CBS News at 6:30pm. She's also the producer behind WLOX's newest broadcast.
