  • Cleared of wrongdoing, Andre Kaufman wants an apology

    Tonight, former Ocean Springs public works director Andre (ON-DRAY) Kaufman has cleared a serious legal hurdle.
        A Jackson County grand jury found insufficient evidence to prosecute him on possible fraud charges, wrapping up an investigation that has lasted almost four years.
        Kaufman sat down with Doug Walker today, to talk about the past, and what the future holds as well.

    A North Mississippi judge was publicly reprimanded for improperly intervening in favor of a landlord against a tenant. We agree with the Mississippi Supreme Court's action. The high court said the County Justice Court Judge improperly advised the landlord to increase the amount she sought from about $500 to seven times that amount, $3,500.
