        Some people in Gulfport are working on cleaning up vandalism and hate speech at a vacant property right across the street from Jones Park widely used by local youth.
        One woman who used to manage the property says it's a real shame.

    Two inmates escaped from the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility.Then the sheriff fired six people and suspended two others.Some people may consider the firings a little harsh and not politically correct. But Sheriff Milton Gaston says the June 2nd escape was an employee's fault.
