Five year after his death, Robert Earl Moody, was honored and remembered Wednesday as a "forgotten hero." A small group of people gathered at Biloxi National Cemetery for a special service. Moody's ashes will be laid to rest at the cemetery. His wife Barbara Moody described her husband as "happy go lucky" and said he often entertained the troops with his singing and jokes.More >>

A World War II soldier from Mississippi will finally be laid to rest in his home state exactly 66 years after he died. Army Cpl. Judge C. Hellums was killed in 1944 on a battlefield in France. Members of the 81st medical group at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi just returned from a humanitarian mission to Chile. A total of 46 men and women took part in the three week medical mission.
