WAVELAND, MS (WLOX) - A Hancock County man has filed a $3 million lawsuit against the Waveland Police Department, the city of Waveland and police officer Jeffrey Guilliot.
Doyle Dahl says that he was tased by officer Guilliot nine times after a traffic stop in March of last year.
Dahl claims the officer said, "I'm going to tase you until you wet your pants."
The suit also says a female passenger in Dahl's car was tased twice during the incident.
A police report on the incident differs dramatically from the claims made in the lawsuit. The report says Dahl was only tased twice, and he was charged with DUI, disorderly conduct and two traffic violations.
Police Chief Jimmy Varnell said he will not comment on the suit until he's had a chance to discuss it with the city attorney.
The suit marks the third abuse lawsuit filed against the police department over the past two years.
