BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - First Baptist Church Biloxi is showing its appreciation to our men and women in uniform. During Sunday morning's worship service, the choir sang "America the Beautiful" and other patriotic songs.
The congregation then presented all the current military members, retirees and veterans with medals of appreciation.
Rev. Argile Smith said, "We want them to know that they matter to us. That they matter to the Lord because life is precious. For them to place their lives on the line for us, we think that's noteworthy.:
Veteran's Day is this Wednesday.
