LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - A fire at the Isle of Capri Casino appears to be the work of drug dealers.

The Westlake Fire Department responded to a fire at the casino's hotel after 6 p.m. on Monday night. The fire was contained to one room and no one was injured, but authorities were called out to investigate after it appeared the fire had been started by a meth lab.

The Calcasieu Sheriff's CAT team came out and confirmed those suspicions, that it was in fact a meth lab.

The occupants of the room were no where to be found. At last check, authorities were still looking for them.
