OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) - Detectives with the Ocean Springs Police Department, working together with U.S. Marshalls, apprehended 47-year-old Dwight Cannon on Saturday, October 17, who is charged with exploitation of a vulnerable adult.
Ocean Springs Detectives issued a felony warrant for the arrest of Dwight Cannon on September 9, 2009.
Cannon exploited an estimated amount of $6,000-$10,000 from a vulnerable adult on Stuart Avenue in Ocean Springs. Cannon fled the Jackson County area before the warrant could be executed.
Ocean Springs Detectives contacted U.S. Marshalls, who assisted in the capture of Cannon. Cannon is a resident of Greenville, Mississippi. His bond has been set at $50,000.
