COPIAH COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - Two people died Tuesday afternoon when their plane crashed in Copiah County. It happened just west of Highway 51 between Crystal Springs and Hazlehurst.
A Copiah Emergency Operation Center spokesman said the plane appeared to be lined up for landing about a quarter mile north of the Gallman Airport. Federal aviation officials are on their way to the airport.
