D'Iberville High sends deployed teacher a taste of home for the holidays

A D'Iberville High teacher serving in the Middle East will soon be receiving a taste of home just in time for the holidays. Computer teacher and swim coach Keith Blalock is currently serving in Afghanistan. Students spent time this week putting together care packages to show Blalock that he may be away, but he's not forgotten.

Walker is the chair of the Business Education Department at St. Martin High, and was one of the school's "Teachers of the Month" for September, according to the school’s website.
