Car destroyed after accident on Hwy 90 in Pass Christian

PASS CHRISTIAN, MS (WLOX) - Pass Christian police are working to clear up Hwy 90 after an accident happened Monday afternoon.

A witness told WLOX the blue car was seen traveling at what they described as a high rate of speed. The witness said the blue car passed them up, and then further down they came across the accident.

The accident happened in front of Walmart.

Police have closed both eastbound lanes and one westbound lane to remove the vehicles and debris.

At least one person was injured and taken to a hospital by ambulance.
