A warming trend begins today

We are going to see increasing clouds tonight ahead of an increase in moisture. Grab your umbrella tomorrow. We’ll see scattered showers Thursday and Friday with more widespread and numerous showers on Saturday. Then, we are going to see an Arctic blast move into South Mississippi.

We may see a few showers on Thursday, but any rain will be light. Highs will reach the mid 60s. A few more showers may move through on Friday, but we’ll warm up into the upper 60s.

Ahead of a strong cold front, highs on Saturday will be near 70! As this front pushes through, we could see widespread showers and a few storms on Saturday. After the front passes, we’ll be drier and much colder by Sunday morning. Lows will dip into the upper 30s, but highs will only reach the upper 40s. Temperatures may drop into the 20s on Monday morning, possibly giving us our first hard freeze of the season. We’ll only make it into the upper 40s by the afternoon.
