It is going to be cloudy and cool. We have seen some showers this morning, and we’re going to keep a chance for showers today and tomorrow. Rain chances really ramp up on Saturday ahead of a frontal system. We have a marginal risk, which is a one on a scale of one to five, for severe thunderstorms, and isolated, brief tornadoes can’t be ruled out.
Then it is going to be significantly colder on Sunday in South Mississippi. We could still see a light freeze in our interior locations Sunday night into Monday morning. Lows will fall into the low 30s across much of the area, with some isolated locations in the upper 20s.
