UPDATE: Biloxi police continue investigation after man shot in head during robbery, searching for witnesses

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Biloxi police are continuing their investigation into what happened on December 15 that ended in one man being shot in the head.

Police are asking if anyone knows the identity of these two women. They were seen on surveillance video. Police believe they may be potential witnesses in the case.

They were last seen headed south on Lameuse Street in a small silver car.

Police say officers responded to the 100 block of Lameuse Street at 10:11 p.m. on reports of a robbery and shooting. Sgt Kenneth Garner with the Biloxi Police Department says the victim is a 38-year-old male and confirmed he was the victim in the robbery.

He was at his car in a parking lot when the incident happened. The victim drove himself to Adventure Pub & Spirits on Lameuse Street to get help.

Despite the head injury, police say he was treated and has been released from a local hospital.

The gunman has not been captured yet.
