Warm Monday, cold blast Tuesday, rain/snow mix for some?

Expect a chilly start Monday morning with a quick warm up into the upper 60s and partly cloudy skies. Light south winds will help return moisture ahead of a strong arctic cold front set to arrive Tuesday morning. Temperatures on Tuesday will fall all day. Showers will accompany the cold front and a transition to a few snow flakes can not be ruled out. However, accumulations are not expected and significant travel problems are not anticipated. Low temperatures by Wednesday morning may drop into the upper 20s on the coast, mid 20s north of I-10.
