LONG BEACH, MS (WLOX) - Police have given the “all clear” at Long Beach Middle School after a student found a threatening note in the bathroom. Police Chief Billy Seal said Biloxi’s bomb squad was called over to check out the building as a precaution. A bomb sniffing dog was seen outside the school.
“All is clear and all students are safe. It was quickly determined that the threat was not viable. Our students were never in any danger,” school officials said in a statement.
A parent told WLOX News her child found the threatening note in the girl’s bathroom at the middle school on Wednesday, and reported it to a teacher immediately.
