Michael moves out, fall moves in

Did you hear? A cold front is coming. A COLD FRONT is coming! Finally, our first front of the fall is going to make a noticeable change in our weather. Get ready for our beautiful fall weather because it will be here starting tomorrow.

Our temperatures will be slightly above average tonight with lows in the mid to upper 60s. The front will pass through the area overnight, and the drier air will follow. By the afternoon hours, the dewpoint temperatures will be in the 50s, and it will feel much nicer. The lower humidity will knock our rain chances down to zero.

The fall weather moves through just in time for the weekend, dropping our high temperatures into the upper 70s and low 80s. Our overnight lows will dip into the 50s inland and 60s along the coast. Enjoy! It looks like another front will come through next week bringing us another cool down.

Michael continues to move very quickly to the northeast through Georgia. Leslie remains a hurricane out in the Atlantic. Nadine is a tropical storm expected to dissipate in the next five days. And there is an area we’re watching in the western Caribbean for potential development, a 50% chance, in the next five days. We’ll keep you posted.
